Job Summary

We are seeking for our CivitFun Brand a senior Backend Engineer to develop key functionalities for our SaaS platform focused on the hospitality sector, including integrations with external systems (PMS, payment methods, locks), architectural design, and deployment of new solutions in a cloud environment. This is an end to end opportunity from architecture design to deployment.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure backend services using Node.js.
• Design and implement APIs and core business logic powering the platform
• Collaborate on front end development using React, especially for admin dashboards and user facing flows.
• Lead technical decisions around architecture, database design, and deployment
• Contribute to CI/CD setup, testing and code quality initiatives

Skillset and Experience Required

• Experienced in backend development, primarily with Node.js
• Solid hands on experience with React.js, including hooks and modern front end patterns
• Strong understanding of RESTful API´s, authentication flows and role-based access
• Proficiency with databases (MongoDB, Redis) SQL and NoSQL
• Cloud experience with AWS
• Experience with SaaS product development
• Ability to work independently and take ownership from concept to production
• Experience with CI/CD setup, testing and code quality initiatives
• Experience working with the Agile Scrum methodology
• English and Spanish languages are a requirement
